Winter Pitching Clinics

Youth Winter Pitching Clinic:   

Ages: 8 - 12

Date: December 17th   Time: 11:30am - 2:30pm

Description: This clinic is beneficial for all youth pitchers, it’s designed by our pitching coaches at Edge, along with two of the top pitchers from this area, Jacob Kisting (Verona, 2021) and Spencer Buskager (Oregon, 2021). Jacob currently plays D1 baseball at Bradley University and was the Braves ace this past year as a freshman. Spencer just finished his last season at MATC, where he made it to the Junior College World Series finishing runner up.

For this clinic, coaches will be covering proper pitching mechanics and the mental side of the game. These things are what every youth player needs to work on. Coming to this camp will give pitchers a better understanding of how they should feel and move on the mound. The coaches will also cover arm care and the importance of maintaining your arm throughout the season/off-season.

Included is a hand-out of everything we covered at the clinic. Attendees can take it home to improve their skill on their own.

Amateur Winter Pitching Clinic:  

Ages: 13 - 18

Date: December 17th  

Time: 3:00 - 6:00pm 

Description: This clinic is beneficial for all amateur pitchers, it’s designed by our pitching coaches at Edge, along with two of the top pitchers from this area, Jacob Kisting (Verona, 2021) and Spencer Buskager (Oregon, 2021). These high level pitchers are willing to share what they have learned through their baseball careers and from the next level Including; Advanced pitching mechanics, fielding from the pitcher position / pickoffs, and the mental side of the game. This camp will also have some incorporation of Rapsodo technology to better help understand the why and how pitches should move. This clinic will be a great tool for pitchers looking to play at the next level.
