COACH JAKE ARENS (Catching-Hitting-Fielding)

My name is Jake Arens and I grew up in Mauston, WI. In highschool I played on varsity for three years, starting at first base. During those three years I was awarded: 3 first team all-conference honors, 2 honorable mention all-district honors, and 1 second team all-district honors. I was also able to wrap up my career with the second most hits as an individual player in Mauston baseball history.

After highschool I was fortunate enough to take my talents to Marian University of Fond du Lac. I played all four years, becoming a starter at first base my sophomore year. I then moved to 2nd base my junior year and played both 1st  and 2nd base my senior year. I finished my playing career at Marian University receiving one NCAA all-conference award.

I played three seasons of Amateur baseball for the Sheboygan A’s In the Wisconsin State League.

Education: I graduated from Marian receiving a Bachelors in Exercise and Sports Science with a Minor in Athletic Coaching.

Through my career, I have had the opportunity to learn and grow from some of the best baseball minds in the area. I have two years of coaching experience working with the Milwaukee Brewers Baseball Academy. As a coach, I am looking forward to taking what I have learned throughout my baseball experiences and career, sharing it with young athletes who have a passion for the game.

Edge Baseball Cancellation Policy

Edge Baseball Academy has implemented a new policy in regard to the cancellation of private/ group baseball lessons. This policy, effective April 13, 2022, will apply to both our customers and to Edge Baseball staff.

This new policy will be a structured way for Edge Baseball and our customers to control the cancellation of lessons while still allowing for unexpected events and sickness. Please read the below information about the changes in our program's cancellation policy.

 24 Hour Notice

The policy states that any scheduled lesson may be cancelled without penalty if done so at least 24 hours in advance of the scheduled time by the client or the instructor.

Less Than 24 Hour Notice

Clients will be allowed two (2) short- notice cancellations without penalty within a one year period. After that you will be automatically charged for the lesson. If Edge Baseball Academy staff makes a scheduling error or calls to cancel a lesson within 24 hours of the scheduled time this will count against that instructor. Edge Baseball staff is also allowed two (2) scheduling errors/ last minute cancellations within one year period. Any cancellations/ scheduling errors after this will result in a lesson credit to your account.

 No Show Policy

Any lesson that you do not show up for without contacting the instructor prior to the lesson time will automatically be charged as a lesson.
