Landon Lassahn (2024- Edge 15U), Velo jump of 10 mph

What I enjoyed most about velo University was its ability to adapt to my schedule and being able to use it anywhere. The ability to use the mobile app allowed me to get the program done in the facility or in my high school gym.
-
The main benefits I noticed from the velo program was obviously the substantial increase in velocity but also the condition of my arm by the season. While most guys on my high school team arms were just get warmed up to throwing again my arm had felt ready to go similar to a mid season feel.
-
I felt velo university was convenient with my schedule because you’re not required to complete everything that day. If you need rest or have homework and just can’t get it done you can back the following day and complete the program.
-
As a multi sport athlete Velo U was easy to work with due to it being on my phone. This allowed me to do it after practice instead of missing my program or missing a practice to complete it.
-
I would recommend Velo University not only as a way to increase your velocity but also as a way to condition your arm in the offseason to avoid pain or discomfort during your spring and summer season.

Arm care and development is fundamental to the game of baseball so an effective throwing program is a critical part of training. Velo is a great option for achieving that goal.
-
It is a nice way to get the boys to commit to a consistent program by having the app. It is easy for them to use, versatile enough to use at home, and is great for tracking progress. It creates accountability leading to better results.
-
Drills and programs recommended by experts is a big plus. The internet is full of information, but it isn’t all best for your player. These are the best drills you can find for improving arm strength and health.
-
Teammates can work together on the drills creating an opportunity for team building.
-
This is a bit subjective, but as a coach, I thought it positively influenced our player’s arm health and increased throwing velocity across the team last season
