Moises Contreras
(Hitting & Fielding)
Moises comes to Madison from Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.
Through his playing career he got to play with Elly de la Cruz, Marcos Luciano, Orelvis Martinez.
From 2020 to 2024, Moises coached at Academy Niche Team in the Dominican Republic, working with players ages 11–16 as a hitting, infield, and outfield coach. He discovered his true passion: developing young athletes not only in skill, but in discipline, mindset, and character.
In recent years in the Dominican Republic he has trained with Juan Soto, he was in the entire development of Josue De Paula, Marconi German, Edward Lantigua, Top Prospects from MILB, and 17 additional players who became professionals.
Moises has also completed Amateur Scouting and Trackman certifications. He will continue pursuing his long-term goal of working in Major League Baseball as a talent scout.
